Evidence is important to the successful prosecution of a crime. Without the evidence, you don’t have a case. You know that.
Spiritual Evidence
Evidence is also very important in dertermining whether a person has been truly born-again. Jesus said that if a man has not been born again it is not possible for him to see the kingdom of God. (John 3:3-7)
In the book of 1 John, there are some twenty signs or “evidences” of a true “conversion” or spiritual rebirth.
Our society is full of people who claim to be “Christians” but very few of them can actually claim a relationship with God through His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, as the Bible says they must. And very few of their lives actually produce the “fruit of the Spirit,” the evidence of a genuine salvation.
Please take the time to look up the following Bible references to see the text of the passages. This not only saves space on the webpage, but you will better learn how to navigate within your Bible. If you have access to a printer, feel free to print this study out.
