Ministry Information

In PURSUIT! Ministries (IPM) is the individual personal ministry of Chaplain Tim Sherman, operating under the auspices and ecclesiastical authority of the Berean Baptist Church of Detroit Lakes, MN for doctrinal and financial accountability.

Since its inception on February 18, 2003, IPM has trained over 150 men and women for service in their local communities as Biblical chaplains to law enforcement and corrections through its Biblical Law Enforcement and Corrections Chaplaincy training course.

Through its Set FREE! Biblical Treatment and Discipleship program, over 95 independent fundamental Baptist Churches have spread the Gospel to untold thousands of lost souls in jails, prisons, penitentiaries, and neighborhoods across the United States and abroad, leading several thousands of souls to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

We give the Lord the credit for the amazing growth and effectiveness this ministry has had over the past seven years!

There are many different ministries and programs which use the same or similar-sounding names as our ministry and programs. Some of these ministries and programs may be good, while others are clearly not. When in doubt please do not assume that we are affiliated with any organization that may look like us or use a similar-sounding name but which does not meet our standards of doctrine or separation, or that such programs or ministries are ours.

When in question, please feel free to call us!

STATEMENT OF INDEPENDENCE: In PURSUIT! Ministries (IPM) is the individual personal ministry of Chaplain Tim Sherman. In an effort to be faithful to the original purpose and burden of this ministry, IPM no longer has “regional representatives.” Instead, we have a close fellowship with several like-minded Biblical Chaplains who agree with our doctrine and separational positions. IPM Provides training and encourages fundamental Baptist ministers and lay persons to serve under the authority of their own local churches; however, these ministers and lay persons who may become Chaplains are not agents, employees, or affiliates of IPM but are totally independent operators. IPM is not responsible for the actions or debts of these persons. Please feel free to contact one near you!
